The next UK NCP: Recognition of EU Professional Qualifications seminar is taking place on Thursday 12th May at St Matthew’s Conference Centre in London. The seminar will focus on the Directive for the mutual recognition of professional qualifications (Directive 2005/36/EC, amended by Directive 2013/55/EU), the changes that have been implemented since Directive 2013/55/EU came into force in January 2016, and the latest information available from the EC and UK on the new procedures.

Topics of discussion will include the principles of professional recognition, the European Professional Card, next steps in Directive negotiations, the IMI system, and case studies on the experiences of competent authorities to date.  The agenda is being finalised and speakers will include Zara Green (UK NCP) and David Hubert (EU Monitr).
